(Have to rectify that.), and I wasn't sure if anyone bar a few people were interested in the stuff I put up here anyway, which is mostly reposting links to other blogs that resonated with me, personally. If anyone is interested in seeing a non-Ning version…See More

Pagan Godspell: Love and the Not-Wasting of Time

The best and might be only way to truly waste time is to worry (and I should know…I’m a champion at it) – to fill it with fear, to count it and wring hands and hesitate over it. SourceSee More

Resources: A First Quaker Hymnal (1919)

Hymns and Songs I.FGC is a body of Quaker yearly and monthly meetings that follow the tradition of unprogrammed worship. A hymnal was first developed by this group in 1919 out of a need requested from educators of young Friends. SourceSee More

Resources: Daniel Dennett: Non-Believing Clergy (PDF)

The ambiguity about who is a believer and who a nonbeliever follows inexorably from the pluralism that has been assiduously fostered by many religious leaders for a century and more: God is many different things to different people, and since we can’t know if one of these conceptions is the right one, we should honor them all. Less Wrong: Religion's Claim to be Non-Disprovable

Early Egyptologists were genuinely shocked to find no trace whatsoever of Hebrew tribes having ever been in Egypt - they weren't expecting to find a record of the Ten Plagues, but they expected to find something. As it turned out, they did find something. They found out that, during the supposed time of the Exodus, Egypt ruled much of Canaan. Source
